I used to love the Texas Renaissance Festival, but in recent years I have liked it less and less, mostly because I usually end up with a raging migraine by the end of it. I resolved to try again this year, and got up at the crack of dawn and spent a whole day there. The weather was beautiful, the shows were a lot of fun, and the people I have never seen it so crowded By the time the fireworks faded and were on our way to the cars, I was sore and tired, but happy I had gone.
